A bomb threat was reported on a Vistara Airlines flight that landed at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, from New Delhi, today afternoon.

The aircraft, flight number 'UK 155,' is currently grounded as security forces, led by the Nepal Army, conduct a thorough search.

The bomb threat call originated from New Delhi, according to airport sources. Upon receiving the alert, the Nepal Army's bomb disposal team was dispatched to the site. So far, no explosive devices have been found.

Security personnel, including the Nepal Army, continue to inspect the aircraft.

This incident is part of a growing pattern of bomb threats targeting Indian flights, as the Indian government prepares to introduce new legislation aimed at punishing individuals responsible for hoax threats.

In just under two weeks, over 120 flights operated by Indian airlines have faced bomb threats, according to the Press Trust of India.

Investigations are ongoing, and further updates are awaited.
