KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 10

Minister for Water Supply, Pradeep Yadav, has urged relevant authorities to prioritize and responsibly address the nation's drinking water sector.

During an on-site visit and inspection of the Nepal Water Supply Corporation in Birgunj, Parsa, today, Minister Yadav emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring the provision of clean, safe, and pure drinking water for all citizens.

'The core objective of this government is to deliver clean and safe drinking water to the people. I urge all stakeholders to align their efforts with this goal and act responsibly toward the citizens,' he stated.

Highlighting the government's 'One House, One Tap' national campaign, the minister reiterated its commitment to turning this vision into reality. He also instructed employees to expedite the implementation of drinking water projects currently in the agreement phase following tender processes.

Pravin Kumar Sah, Chief of the Nepal Water Supply Corporation's Birgunj branch, reported that the branch serves 11,450 customers within Birgunj Metropolis, providing them with clean and safe drinking water.
