KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 22

The price of gold in the domestic market surged by Rs 1,100 per tola today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, fine gold is now trading at Rs 149,600 per tola, up from Rs 148,500 last Friday.

Silver has also seen a rise, trading at Rs 1,790 per tola, an increase of Rs 30 compared to Friday's price of Rs 1,760 per tola.
