KATHMANDU, JANUARY 8

The price of gold rose by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is trading at Rs 152,500 per tola today, up from Rs 152,000 per tola on Tuesday, where it had remained stable for a day.

Meanwhile, the price of silver, which had increased by Rs 20 per tola on Tuesday-from Rs 1,810 to Rs 1,830 per tola-remains unchanged today.
