KATHMANDU, JANUARY 2

The price of gold in Nepal's domestic market continued its upward trend, rising by Rs 500 per tola on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 151,500 per tola, up from Rs 151,000 per tola on Wednesday. This follows a significant increase of Rs 1,400 per tola on Wednesday.

Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs 25 per tola on Thursday. Silver, which was priced at Rs 1,765 per tola on Wednesday, is now being traded at Rs 1,790 per tola.
