Gold price surges by Rs 2,200 per tola

The price of gold has surged by Rs 2,200 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday, continuing its upward trend in recent days. On Tuesday, the gold price had already increased by Rs 1,900 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 166,900 per tola, a significant rise from Rs 167,000 per tola on Tuesday.
Similarly, the price of silver also saw an increase, rising by Rs 45 per tola today. Silver was priced at Rs 1,930 per tola on Tuesday and has now reached Rs 1,975 per tola.
