The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has revealed the details of the central contracts for both male and female players for the year 2025.

In a statement, the CAN announced that the contract structure for both male and female players will be categorized into various grades, each with different pay scales.

According to the CAN, the following players have been awarded Grade 'A' contracts, earning RS100,000 per month: captain Rohit Kumar Paudel, Dipendra Singh Airee, Sompal Kami, Sandeep Lamichhane, and Aashif Sheikh.

Players placed in Grade 'B', including Kushal Bhurtel, Karan KC, Gulshan Jha, Lalit Rajbanshi, and Anil Sah, will receive NPR 75,000 per month.

Meanwhile, Sandeep Jora, Aarif Sheikh, Bhim Sarki, and Kushal Malla have been assigned Grade 'C' contracts, each receiving NPR 55,000 monthly.

The following players have been awarded Grade 'D' contracts, with a salary of NPR 35,000: Sagar Dhakal, Lokesh Bahadur Bam, Sahab Alam, Aakash Chand, Bibek Kumar Yadav, Surya Tamang, Rijan Dhakal, Dev Khanal, Bashir Ahmad, Pratish GC, Avinash Bohara, and Mayan Yadav.

The Emerging Player category includes Dipesh Prasad Kandel (Koshi), Rupesh Kumar Singh (Madhesh), Subha Kansakar (Bagmati), Arjun Kumal (Gandaki), Santosh Yadav (Lumbini), Arjun Gharti (Karnali), and Hemant Dhami (Sudurpashchim), each earning NPR 25,000.

The NCA has also announced the central contracts for female players. Skipper Indu Barma, Pooja Mahato, Rubina Chhetry, and Sita Rana Magar have been granted Grade 'A' contracts, earning NPR 50,000 per month.

Kabita Joshi has been awarded a Grade 'B' contract worth NPR 35,000. In Grade 'C', Kabita Kunwar and Samjhana Kumari Khadka will receive NPR 25,000 per month, reads the statement.

While Grade 'D' players, including Bindu Rawal, Aalisha Kumari Yadav, Manisha Kumari Upadhya, Sana Prabin, Riya Sharma, Simana KC, Krishma Gurung, Sabitri Dhami, Roma Thapa, Ishwori Bista, Jyotsnika Marasini, and Rachana Kumari Chaudhary, will earn NPR 20,000 monthly.

The central contracts for the 2025 season are valid for six months, from January to June.

After this period, based on player performance, contracts will be renewed for the following six months, from July to December, according to the statement.
