PM Oli and Indian counterpart Modi hold warm, cordial talks

KATHMANDU, APRIL 4
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli stated that he had a warm and meaningful meeting with his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi.
The two leaders met this afternoon at Hotel Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, Thailand, on the sidelines of the Sixth Summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
'Our discussions were highly meaningful and constructive. I express my appreciation for this cordial exchange,' PM Oli wrote on his official X account (formerly Twitter) following the meeting.
According to the Prime Minister, the two leaders discussed various dimensions of Nepal-India relations. 'This dialogue will be instrumental in forging new partnerships to advance bilateral relations, regional cooperation, and the agendas highlighted at the BIMSTEC Summit,' he added.
