The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has recognised the National Food and Feed Reference Laboratory of DFTQC for food sample testing.

The analysis certificates issued by NFFRL Kathmandu would be accepted by relevant authorities in India for food imports.

The list of products which are accepted includes juice, jam, jelly pickles, candies, ginger, fresh fruits, vegetables and instant noodles.

This will help boost Nepali exports of these items.
