KATHMANDU, MAY 29

The annual estimate of revenue and expenditure (budget) for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83 is being presented in the Federal Parliament.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is currently presenting the budget at the joint session of the Federal Parliament that just began at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

Earlier, the Cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar approved the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. As per the constitutional provision, the government is required to present the annual budget on the 15th of Jestha every year.
