Gold price drops by Rs 2,500 per tola on Tuesday

KATHMANDU, JUNE 17

The price of fine gold in the domestic market dropped by Rs 2,500 per tola on Tuesday, following stability over the previous two trading days.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 195,000 per tola, down from Rs 197,500 per tola on Monday. The price had remained unchanged on Sunday and Monday.

Silver also witnessed a decline of Rs 5 per tola, falling to Rs 2,160 per tola from Rs 2,165 per tola on Monday. Similar to gold, silver prices had remained stable for the past two days before today's drop.
