Gold prices in the domestic market slumped sharply by Rs 3,500 per tola on Thursday, a day after witnessing a modest rise of Rs 500 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FeNeGoSiDA), the price of fine gold fell to Rs 181,800 per tola on Thursday, down from Rs 185,300 per tola on Wednesday.
Silver prices also continued their downward trend. After dropping by Rs 10 per tola on Wednesday, silver shed another Rs 35 on Thursday. With this, silver is now being traded at Rs 1,925 per tola, compared to Rs 1,960 per tola the previous day.
