Nepal SBI Bank provides Rs 1 Million to Lumbini Development Trust under CSR Initiative

KATHMANDU, JUNE 29

Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (NSBL) has contributed Rs 1 million to the Lumbini Development Trust as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

The financial support will be utilized for ongoing conservation and infrastructure efforts at Lumbini, including environment protection, improving water supply, enhancing facilities for pilgrims and visitors, and maintenance of pathways, according to the press release issued by the bank.

The contribution was formally handed over by Rama Mohan Rao Amara, Managing Director (International Banking, Global Markets & Technology), State Bank of India, to Sanuraja Shakya, Member Secretary of the Lumbini Development Trust, during a program held at the Trust premises.

The event was attended by NSBL Chairperson Jayati Bansal, Managing Director and CEO Ram Kumar Tiwari, Directors Ritesh Sinha, Bharat Raj Wasti, Apsara Upreti, Gopal Prasad Bhatta, Deputy CEO and COO Vikas Anand, CFO Rajesh Kumar Panda, and officials from the Lumbini Development Trust.

NSBL stated that it regularly conducts such initiatives to support cultural and heritage preservation at the community level.

Established 31 years ago, NSBL currently operates with 100 branches, 22 extension counters, 7 province offices, 19 branchless banking points, 125 ATMs, and a corporate office across Nepal.
