KATHMANDU, AUGUST 21

The Weather Forecasting Division has reported that the hilly regions of the country will remain generally cloudy, while other areas are likely to be partly cloudy.

Moderate rainfall is expected this afternoon in one or two locations across the hilly and Tarai regions.

Tonight, several areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are likely to receive moderate rainfall, with the possibility of heavy rainfall in isolated parts of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki, according to the Division.

The Division has urged the public to remain vigilant and adopt precautionary measures, warning that rivers in the hilly regions may swell and that there is an increased risk of debris flow due to the ongoing monsoon.
