There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces today.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, while the weather will remain generally cloudy across the country, moderate rainfall is expected in some areas of the Tarai and the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The Division has projected the possibility of heavy rainfall in isolated hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces today. However, it noted that the monsoon remains relatively weak, as the low-pressure trough is positioned slightly to the south of its average location.
For tonight, the forecast indicates generally cloudy conditions in Koshi and Gandaki provinces as well as in the hilly areas of the remaining provinces, with partly cloudy skies in other regions. Moderate rainfall is likely in a few areas of the Tarai and the hilly regions of Koshi, along with the hilly areas of other provinces.
There is also a possibility of heavy rainfall tonight at one or two locations in the Tarai and hilly regions of Koshi Province.
