The Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee has announced the auspicious timings for this year's Vijaya Dashami.

Committee Chairperson Prof. Shambhu Prasad Dhakal told RSS that the most auspicious time for receiving tika during the Dashain festival falls at 11:53 a.m. on October 2.

This year's Dashain begins on September 22, with Ghatasthapana-the first day of the festival-scheduled for 9:30 a.m. the same day.

According to a press release issued by the Committee on Tuesday, Phulpati will be observed on September 29, Maha Ashtami on September 30, and Maha Navami on October 1.

The festival concludes with Kojagrat Purnima on October 6.
