Seven Summit Treks scores back-to-back Manaslu summits
Guiding 62 members, the Nepali outfitter cements its lead in the Autumn 2025 season

Seven Summit Treks achieved back-to-back successes on Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m), guiding 33 climbers to the summit over two consecutive days in the ongoing autumn climbing season.
The Kathmandu-based expedition company reported that on September 22 and 23 its Sherpa-guided teams successfully led 25 international climbers from more than a dozen countries, along with 16 Sherpas, to the summit.
Notably, China's He Jing and Taiwan's Yin-Kuei Hsu achieved the ascent without supplemental oxygen, while Sherpa Pasang Tenje also climbed oxygen-free.
On September 23, eight international climbers-Efraim Hingally (Israel); Jian Luo, Yuankai Zhao, Haoting Li, and He Jing (China, with He Jing summiting without supplemental oxygen); Mohammadrezashahram Shahlaei (Iran); Wei Han Wu (Taiwan); and Alasdair Scot Mckenzie (France)-reached the summit alongside eight Nepali Sherpas: Jamling Bhote, Pemba Tasi Sherpa, Pasang Sherpa, Pema Rinje Sherpa, Pemba Chhiring Sherpa, Phurba Sonam Sherpa, and two climbers both named Sonam Sherpa (one also known as Sona Rinji).
A day earlier, September 22, another international contingent of 17 climbers summited, representing Singapore, Australia, Russia, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Norway, Ukraine, Germany, Finland, Switzerland, Taiwan (with Yin-Kuei Hsu climbing without oxygen), and China. They were supported by 17 Nepali Sherpas, including Pasang Tenje Sherpa, who also climbed without supplemental oxygen.
Seven Summit Treks said it is leading the current autumn season on Manaslu with 62 climbing members supported by an extensive Sherpa team, providing VIP, upgraded, and standard services. The company extended congratulations to all climbers and wished them safe descents as another group prepares for its summit attempt.
