CHITWAN, SEPTEMBER 30

Jeep safari services inside Chitwan National Park (CNP) resumed on Monday after a three-month suspension during the monsoon season.

The service was halted on June 30 due to risks from seasonal flooding, falling trees, and potential damage to forest roads.

Authorities have re-authorized last year's jeeps for operation, with operators instructed to ensure vehicles are in good condition.

This season, safari services will be provided by 32 jeeps from Sauraha, nine from Meghauli, two from Ujauli, five from Amaltari, and one from Madi.
