Gold hits new record high, surges by Rs 2,300 per tola on Tuesday
Price reaches Rs 235,400 per tola in domestic market; silver remains unchanged

The price of gold continued its upward momentum in the domestic market on Tuesday, rising by Rs 2,300 per tola to reach yet another record high.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold climbed to Rs 235,400 per tola, up from Rs 233,100 per tola on Monday. The yellow metal had already surged by Rs 2,500 per tola a day earlier.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs 2,960 per tola, the federation said.
