KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 9

Minister for Urban Development Kulman Ghising on Thursday inspected the ongoing upgradation work at the TU Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur and directed stakeholders to expedite its completion.

Minister Ghising said that the first phase of construction, which includes the parapet to seat nearly 12,000 spectators, is nearing completion. The construction company has also pledged to install six floodlights within a month.

He expressed confidence that the first phase of works would be completed before the start of the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL).
