KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 27

The country is currently experiencing the influence of westerly winds coupled with a low-pressure system over the Arabian Sea, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

This afternoon, hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are expected to remain partly cloudy, while the plains will also see similar conditions. Light rain or snowfall is possible at one or two locations in the high hills and mountain regions across all provinces.

Tonight, cloudy conditions are forecast for most hilly areas, with partly cloudy skies likely in the Terai. Moderate rain or snowfall may occur in parts of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, and at a few places in other hilly and mountainous regions, including Lumbini.
