KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 17
Following their Pokhara concert a week ago, Nepathya, Nepal's premier folk-rock band, received a warm and gracious welcome during their maiden Nagoya concert on their Japan tour 2025.
In a press statement, Nepathya's management company, Nepalaya, said the band entertained full-house audiences from all walks of life across Japan with a carefully curated blend of classic and contemporary songs.
The band's lead singer and frontman, Amrit Gurung, engaged the audience throughout the concert, not only performing but also interacting with them. In his address, he highlighted the importance of Nepali unity, even among those living abroad, and stressed the need to cherish and uphold the Nepali language and cultural identity with renewed vigor.
While performing the song 'Yo Jindagani', Amrit appealed to the audience to support children in Nepal who are unable to attend school, urging everyone to fulfill their responsibility towards the nation. The concert concluded with Nepathya performing 'Rato ra Chandrasurya', bidding farewell to the audience, reads the statement.
Following the successful Nagoya show, the band's 14-member entourage will travel to Tokyo to perform at the historic Tokyo Dome City Hall on November 18, marking their second performance there in seven years.
Keeping audience convenience in mind, arrangements have been made for concert tickets in Japan to be purchased online. Seats can be reserved through Nepathya's official website, www.nepathya.com.np, according to the statement.
