Xiaomi 15T brings Leica photography to Nepal's smartphone market

The Xiaomi 15T has entered Nepal's competitive smartphone market, positioning itself as a practical alternative combining Leica-tuned cameras with premium specifications.
Priced at Rs 64,999 for the 12GB/512GB variant, the device is available through Xiaomi's authorized retail network across Nepal.
The standout feature is its versatile camera setup anchored by a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization and f/1.7 lens, complemented by a 50MP 2X telephoto, 12MP ultra-wide and 32MP selfie camera. Leica's colour profiles and bokeh effects deliver premium polish for everyday photography without flagship pricing.
The device features a 6.83-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 3,200 nits peak brightness, ensuring visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. Performance is powered by 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, enabling smooth multitasking and faster app installation speeds.
A 5,500mAh battery provides full-day endurance with moderate to heavy use, supported by 67W wired charging that reaches 100 per cent in approximately 50 minutes. The device weighs just 194 grams with a plastic frame, IP68 water and dust resistance certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Additional features include WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, 5G support, NFC for contactless payments, optical in-display fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock.
Xiaomi offers flexible EMI options at 40 per cent down payment with nine-month installments.
