KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 31

Himalayan Life Insurance Company held its 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kathmandu, endorsing the company's annual report and financial statements for the fiscal year 2081/82.

According to the meeting, the company recorded a total premium income of Rs 65 crore during the period, of which Rs 45 crore came from renewal premiums.

The AGM also approved the auditor's report, appointed an auditor for FY 2082/83, and fixed their remuneration. Additionally, the board presented a proposal focused on strengthening governance and improving service delivery, which was endorsed by the shareholders. The meeting also discussed measures to expedite the settlement of insurance claims.
