KATHMANDU, MAY 4 Newly appointed Inspector General of the Armed Police Force Nepal Narayan Dutta Poudel received his rank insignia at a special ceremony held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday. Home Secretary Rajkumar Shrestha presented the insignia to IGP Poudel during the programme. The Council of Ministers had on April 27 decided to promote then Additional Inspector General Poudel to the post of Inspector General. He succeeds Raju Aryal, who retired on May 1.
