KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 4 A group of motorcycle riders has delivered educational and other relief supplies to students of Shree Neelakantha Higher Secondary School in Uttargaya Rural Municipality of Rasuwa, which was affected by the recent Bhotekoshi floods. The supplies were collected through donations from the riding community and their networks, with additional materials donated by Ace Institute of Management. A team from Yatra Moto travelled through difficult terrain and sections without proper road access to reach the school and distribute the supplies. The relief package included school bags, exercise books, pens, pencils, colouring books and kits, shoes, socks, tracksuits, water bottles, snacks, sports equipment, umbrellas, diapers and mattresses. Additional stationery was also provided for the school's staff. The Bhotekoshi floods in late September caused deaths and widespread damage to roads, bridges, hydropower infrastructure and settlements in several districts, including Rasuwa. The disruption also affected access to schools and other essential services in the affected areas.
