Rautahat District Education Office (DEO) has appointed a man as permanent teacher in place of his brother, currently working in the Gulf.

Rakesh Kumar Thakur of Basatpur VDC-4 had appeared and passed the recruitment exams conducted by the Education Service Commission in 1995 but now his elder brother Rabi Thakur has been appointed in his place. The incident came to light when teachers filed a complaint at the DAO.
