Global Exposition and Management Service Pvt Ltd (GEMS) is organising ‘Nepal Home Appliance Show 2005’ in Kathmandu. The event will be held from May 25- 28.

Electronic goods manufactured in Nepal and imported from China, India, Korea, Japan, Italy, Singapore and England will be displayed at the event. A wide array of appliances, ranging from kitchenware to telecommunications equipment, will be marketed at the four-day long event.

Exchange facility, free technical assistance, sales and consumer financing are major attractions of the expo. Organisers said that the event would be a platform for both consumers and producers to explore changing market of electronic appliances.

“Consumer can compare prices, find out advantages of one over the other and purchase accordingly. The event would be beneficial to manufacturers as they could know about the changing demand of electronic goods in the domestic market and could supply accordingly,”said Sagar Gautam, consultant at GEMS.
