Kathmandu, May 16:
The government has relaxed the ban on registration and ownership transfer of 20-year-old vehicles outside the Valley from May 13.
The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has already circulated the government decision of May 10 to all its zonal offices to register such vehicles except the ones which were bought with loans from banks and auction.
As no 20-year-old vehicles can enter and ply in the Valley, the new rule has eased such vehicles to shift from the Valley to other parts outside the Valley.
