KATHMANDU: NGO's working in the area of child labour today demanded that the constitution should be child friendly. On the concluding day of the three-day National Child Labour Conference, 51 NGOs said that the constitution must be child friendly so that discrimination against children can be eliminated. Milan Dharel, executive director of Children-Women in Social Service and Human Rights, said they wanted to draw the government's attention towards issues related to child labour. The conference has demanded that the government include child labour issue in 'School Sector Reform Plan' to achieving the target of bringing all the school-going children under education system. The conference also sought free education till secondary level for all the children. Nepal has expressed commitment to eliminate every type of discrimination being faced by children by 2015.
