He said: 'I've tried to cry more since Heidi absolutely fell in love with Tom Hardy who appears in a Kleenex advert. She loves him in that, so I've been trying to force myself to cry to get in on that action. All I do is wave my fingers in front of my eyes to calm myself down.' Although Dave is happily engaged to Heidi, he is also a fan of another girl band singer - Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts. He told Attitude magazine: 'Nicola Roberts is my favourite member of Girls Aloud. No disrespect to her, she was always the ugly ginger one. Now she's snuck her way into almost becoming a fashion icon.'
