KATHMANDU:  The United Nations Organisation (UNO) has picked Nepal Scout as its partner organisation. The social organisation has been contributing to the physical, intellectual, social and spiritual development of children, teenagers and young people in Nepal for 62 years. Applauding the active and effective role the social organisation played in search and rescue and relief operations following the April 25 quake, the UNO selected Nepal Scout as its partner organisation in last month. Speaking at a ceremony organised at the Nepal Scout's headquarters to mark its 63rd anniversary on Saturday, Rabin Dahal, Chief Commissioner of Nepal Scout said it was a matter of happiness to collaborate with the UNO.
