KATHMANDU: The National Seismological Centre recorded a light tremor of local magnitude 4.0 at 2:59 pm on Wednesday. Its epicentre was in Sindhupalchok district. The coordinates 27.85°N, 85.75°E, provided by the NSC. show that the epicentre was close to Selang, northeast of the district headquarters Chautara. The NSC recorded a minor aftershock of ML 3.8 in Kavre at 4:28 pm on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the number of aftershocks of ML 4.0 or above of the April 25 earthquake has reached 329 so far.
