DHANGADI: A peace rally has been organised to maintain social harmony between pro-undivided Far-Western Pradesh and Pro-Tharuhat Pradesh people in Dhangadhi of Kailali district on Monday. Cadres of different political parties, civil society members, entrepreneurs, journalists, industrialists among others participated in the rally led by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Kailali chapter. Considering possible clashes between the two sides, scores of security personnel were deployed in the city. According to the Chief District Officer Raj Kumar Shrestha, the administration is planning to install security barriers from the District Police Office to District Administration Office, to keep the security situation intact.
