No power in Rautahat

By Himalayan News Service

RAUTAHAT: Though electric poles have already been installed and power cables strung, residents in around a dozen rural villages of Rautahat are still deprived of electricity. The supply of power was delayed after Nepal Electricity Authority ran out of power meters. Folks at Simara Bhawanipur, Laminiyan, Jangalsahiya, Khaira, Rangapur, Pratappur, Paltuwa, Samanpur, among other VDCs, still use kerosene lamps.
