NEPALGUNJ: The District Administration Office, Banke, has issued a curfew order in the Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City from 9:00 pm on Monday to 9:00 am on Tuesday. The curfew order shall remain into effect from Bhujaigaun of north Ranjha to Jamunaha (south), and Phultekra Chok towards east to Nandani Mill to the west, Chief District Officer Bed Prasad Lekhak said. The curfew is imposed in order to avoid any untoward incident in the city. Pro-Tharuhat state protesotrs have been organising various protest programmes in the region demanding a separate Tharuhat province in the federal set-up.
