KATHMANDU: Coinciding with the Gaijatra festival, sexual minorities in Kathmandu staged a rally demanding inclusion of their issues in the constitution. The lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transvestites have been holding such parades every year on Gaijatra, a festival also regarded as an occasion to make fun of various evils being practised in society. The sexual minorities in Nepal say that are largely being discriminated by state mechanisms.
