KATHMANDU, MAY 2
The domestic gold market witnessed a rebound on Thursday, with prices surging by Rs 2,000 per tola. The yellow metal dropped by Rs 2,700 per tola on Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold has risen substantially to Rs 136,500 per tola, marking a notable increase from Wednesday's rate of Rs 134,500 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold is now trading at Rs 135,850 per tola, up from Rs 133,850 per tola the previous day.
In tandem with gold, silver prices also saw an uptick, rising by Rs 15 per tola to reach Rs 1645 per tola, compared to Wednesday's rate of Rs 1630 per tola.
