Situated in the Tara Gaon Museum, Flavor’s Café and Restaurant offers a variety of Continental, Indian and Nepali dishes. Situated amidst the greens, the restaurant is a welcoming sight to the sore eyes. The interior is decorated with beautiful pieces of art and the craftfully carved lattice windows add to the charm. The taste of authentic food with soft traditional music in the background makes it one of the most visited restaurants in town. Chicken Biryani The classic Indian Chicken Biryani is prepared with paneer, dry fruits and brown gravy essentially made of onions, ginger, garlic and bay leaves. It is best served with raita and mixed pickle. Rohit’s verdict “The gravy is slightly spicy but the raita balances out the taste. It is delicious.” Vegeterian Lasagna Lasagna filled with lots of mozzarella cheese, spinach, mushroom, white stauce and tomato sauce. Rohit’s verdict “It is cheesy!” Spaghettti Arrabbiata Tomato sauce based pasta prepared with black olive and sprinkled with oregano. Rohit's verdict 'Arrabbiata sauce gives you a spicy taste with the flavours of garlic and tomatoes.' Salami Pizza Pizza with salami, mozzarella and tomato toppings. Rohit’s verdict “It is my favourite dish so far at Flavor’s café. Tthe base of the pizza is crispy just the way I like and I love the real taste of mozzarella and pepper.” Overall verdict I love the artistic design and serene environment of the Flavor’s Café and Restaurant. I can come here anytime for relaxation and try out the flavourful dishes to make my day. Rohit John Chettri is a musician and a singer and is best known for his song ‘Bistarai Bistarai’.
