DHANGADI: Kailali District Administration Office lifted its curfew order for four hours in Tikapur, Kailali, on Sunday. Following the killing of eight police personnel and a toddler on August 23, DAO had clamped the 24-hour curfew in Tikapur. The DAO lifted the curfew from 7:00am to 11:00am. Assistant Chief District Officer Udaya Bahadur Singh of Kailali said the curfew order was lifted for four hours to ease things for the public. But curfew was imposed from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm in Dhangadi. Singh said that curfew was lifted for an hour  keeping the Gaura Festival in mind.
