KATHMANDU: A brace from Rejin Subba helped Nepal register 2-1 victory over Jordan in the opening match of the AFC U-16 Qualifiers in Bishkek of Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday. Subba made breakthrough for Nepal scoring his first goal in the 25th minute. At half time, Nepal were leading 1-0. Subba doubled the tally with another goal in the 70th minute. Jordan scored a consolation goal in the dying minutes of the injury time. Nepal are scheduled to play the hosts Kyrgyzstan on Friday.
