KATHMANDU: Nepal lost their third Group B match of AFC U-16 Qualifiers against Oman 1-3 in Bishkek of Kyrgyzstan on Sunday. Oman scored two goals before the half time and added one more in the counter-move in the dying moments of the added time a few minutes. Prezen Tamang scored the lone goal for Nepal on the spot kick in the 89th minute. Nepal, who opened the campaign with a 2-1 victory over Jordan on Wednesday and beat the hosts Kyrgyzstan 4-2 on Friday, have six points on the table. But Oman with equal points top the table based on goal difference. A total of 15 teams, 10 group winners and five best runners-up, will join hosts India in the tournament proper next year.
