ILAM: Police nabbed three persons for torching a truck at Kolbung-9, Jholudanda of Ilam along the Mechi Highway on Wednesday. The suspects have been identified as Suraj Thebe, Sujan Limbu and Arun Mawo of Shantinagar-1, Jhapa. A group of seven persons coming from Shantinagar had torched the truck (Me 1 Kha 1841) en route to Ilam from Dulabari. Four other persons involved in the incident are still at large, police said. A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Pashupatinagar under the command of Inspector Padma Thapaliya had arrested the unruly persons. The suspects during the interrogration said that they set the truck on fire for defying their strike.
