KATHMANDU: Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) recorded a net profit of Rs 334.57 million during the fiscal 2014-15. BoK’s board of directors’ meeting, held on September 28, decided to propose stock dividend (bonus share) of Rs 551.25 million (26 per cent of paid-up capital of Asadh end) post approvals of Nepal Rastra Bank and annual general meeting of the bank and cash dividend of Rs 29.01 million (1.37 per cent of paid-up capital of Asadh end) for tax purpose, as per a press statement. After issuance of proposed bonus share of fiscal year 2071-72 BS (post required approvals and completion of necessary procedures for bonus share issue), paid-up capital of BoK will be Rs 2.67 billion. During the financial year, BoK’s total deposit was Rs 39.46 billion and loans and advances stood at Rs 33.39 billion.
