DAMAULI: Tanahun District Court remanded two sisters in custody on Friday for their involvement in the murder of a teenage boy. After the mysterious death of Purna Bahadur Ale of Byas Municipality, kin of the deceased had filed an FIR accusing Sapana Malla, 20, and her 16-year-old sister Urmila of their involvement in Ale’s murder. Tanahun District Police Office had started an investigation by filing a murder case against the sisters. The duo was sent to Tanahun prison following the court’s order. Ale’s dead body was found hanging from a tree on the premises of Bigyanchaur-based Adikavi Bhanubhakta Campus on September 7, two days after he had left to take tuition class from his sister’s home. Ale is suspected to have been murdered over a love affair with Urmila.
