MAKASSAR, INDONESIA: For a second day, searchers have failed to locate a plane with 10 people on board that went missing in eastern Indonesia. Henry Bambang Soelistyo, who heads the National Search and Rescue Agency, said Sunday's search was again hampered by bad weather and rough terrain. The plane, owned by the private Aviastar Mandiri airline, lost contact with air traffic controllers 11 minutes after taking off in good weather Friday from Masamba in South Sulawesi province. The DHC-6 Twin Otter plane was on a routine flight to Makassar, the provincial capital, carrying three crew members and seven passengers, including three children. Monday's search would be focused on the sea, Soelistyo said.
