KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa said he would visit New Delhi in a bid to lift the ongoing obstruction at Indo-Nepal border points. Organising a press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, Thapa said he would hold a bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj and ask her to ease supplies of daily consumables including petroleum products, obstructed for few weeks, especially after promulgation of the new Constitution here. He would return home on Monday. 'I hope my visit would improve the mutual relation between two neighbours,' Thapa said, adding that he was hopeful that the Indian side would cooperate in resuming trade via various customs points.
