Khotang, October 28 A woman died on Tuesday after her husband mercilessly beat her under the influence of alcohol. Buddhi Shova Rai, 52, of Diktel municipality-7 died when her husband Om Prakash Rai, 52, beat her indiscriminately over a domestic dispute. DSP Bidhyananda Majhi said both husband and wife had consumed alcohol at the time of the incident. Om Prakash has been arrested and a murder case has been filed against him on Wednesday. Body of Buddhi Sovha was handed over to her maternal relatives after post-mortem at the District Hospital, Khotang, said police.
