KATHMANDU: Visiting UN Representative Arpine Korekyan called on Speaker Onsari Gharti at the latter’s office in Legislature-Parliament Secretariat on Monday, and discussed matters relating to mutual interest. Matters relating to UN’s technical support to the advancement of information technology in Nepal were also discussed during the meeting, according to the Secretariat. Korekyan from the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs is in Kathmandu to attend the international conference on Right to Information hosted by the National Information Commission. The conference begins in the capital tomorrow.
