Govt, Madhesi parties should be flexible to resolve ongoing chaos: Paudel

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress (NC) acting President Ram Chandra Paudel said that both the government and agitating Madhes-based parties should be flexible to resolve the ongoing problems. Speaking at a press conference orgainsed by the Press Union, Chitwan Chapter in Narayangarh, the NC leader said that the two-month long protests have affected the economy of the country. 'NC is not the part of talks team, however, it will help to resolve the ongoing problems,' Paudel said. He went on to say that the government should address the demands of the agitating Madhes-based parties to solve the ongoing chaos in Tarai region. Saying that the NC would never not accept 'One Madhes, One State and Ethnic State' demand raised by Madhes-centric parties, he said that his party would,however, try to address others demands of them.
